Technically Yellow is the superior game, but Red has Fire Puppies and is therefore superior to blue.

The Fire Puppies were in Blue as well, I'm afraid. I remember catching one on Christmas day.

It is, the only way to get a fire puppy in blue is to glitch one in or trade someone who has red or yellow. Trust me, I've spawned a Lance the Dragon Trainer mid game.
